Sundown Transmissions

   At Sundown Transmissions + Auto Repair we have been in business since 1985.  It has always been our goal to provide quality repairs at a price that's fair backed by honesty and integrity. A job well done, done right the first time.

 

   We don't try to lure you in the shop with low prices on one repair in order to make up for it on another repair. We try to give accurate estimates that are fair to both the customer and ourselves. As with most things you get what you pay for with auto repairs. There are lots of ways to cut corners. All of which lesson the quality of the repair you receive and increase the likelihood of a repeat failure. At Sundown Transmissions, repairs are done by the book using the proper tools and equipment not by the seat of our pants with a pair of vise grips and an adjustable wrench.

 

   I received my education in automobile repair from Johnson School Of Technology now known as Johnson College in Scranton Pa. I graduated in 1979 with a degree in Specialized Technology: Automotive and Internal Combustion Technology. After graduating I worked at a Chevrolet dealership for a few years and became a certified Chevrolet Technician by attending several GM training schools. I became a certified ASE Master Technician and my certification has remained current for over 30 years.
